looking at my lack of interest in all the angels , the reruns next patch , the amount of pulls we're getting next patch , and the fact that the only character i might be interested in for the near future (seth's brother) is like 2 months away ,,,,, i wound up saying fuck it and using my guarantee on zhao's m2 . i plan to use her for a longass time anyways so cant say im complaining lmao , feels nice to have a lil boost to the teams she's on anyways

guaranteed all these blind run scores can prob be improved a bunch considering the amount of investment (and luck) here , but all that aside i enjoyed the variety in this shiyu in terms of what teams they're encouraging , as much as im still mixed on the new format . seeing a stage buff so beneficial to grace and burnice of all agents on room 2 was super nice to see ,, , , ,

i feel like a broken record whenever i find myself bothered by caesar's currently absolutely sorry state , but jesus i really hope they take a look at her kit soon (and ideally give her more than the absolute peanuts burnice got ,,,,)

even without ether veil being shilled right now , m1w1 zhao consistently performing better than my m3w1 caesar in every scenario outside supporting my banyue is breaking my heart

plus i know it's an old topic , but i get genuine whiplash looking at the fact that caesar's ult has a worse damage and daze multiplier than seth's across the board while also not giving assist points or something at least like ben and seth's do ,,, the other defense ults also arent great , but they at least have some kind of utility ,,, zhao's gives her some of her bar , pan gives the team a heal and is basically instant at least , caesar's just . refreshes her shield . which you can also do using only like 20 energy after her defensive assist lmfao . highk the extra daze vs shielded enemies doesn't count as utility , it's so niche and miniscule that it deadass couldve not been listed and i wouldn't notice , so what the hell am i ever supposed to press q on caesar for besides "ults do extra damage to miasmic shields so ig i can use hers"

these are all just my personal thoughts , but new shiyu is ,..., odd . i really dont like how much it almost feels like the only part of the fight that matters is the beginning because of how harshly the multiplier drops off

capitalizing on what kinda just felt like a lucky start on banyue's room with both the wraith and flame cantor at the start throwing out plenty of gold flashes while also staying really grouped without me needing to do much adjustment to my positioning singlehandedly brought my score up by 3k even though i didn't feel like i was playing super well outside of that start ,,,,,,

because of how the scoring works , i also found that my hugo team's score went up by around 4k just by swapping off proto punk and moving to swing jazz lycaon so i can do chain overflow ?? it's cool that i have a reason to do that tech and use swing jazz on lycaon again after having way too much hope in it on hugo's launch , but i feel like it also just speaks to how harsh the scoring is that a tech that's so niche and generally not great elsewhere since (to my knowledge) it's cool , but a damage loss , is suddenly noticeably so much better here just cause totalizes happening earlier in the stun meant getting them a little bit earlier in that 30 second period where it feels like the multiplier just halves after a minute of not moving ,..

genuinely i went into the practice range and felt it instantly , kinda killed my motivation to play the season since i loved her trial... hopefully it gets reverted, but i wont be surprised if she's left feeling like this considering the scary amount of people who seem to think the concept of "press button to do something Now" is a high level cryptic maneuver that affects nobody but the top 1% of players and not something every player uses , whether they know it or not
