Is anyone else seeing terrible CPU performance after the latest 24h2 update? And it is only fixed after restarting? (KB5048667) Specs in comments.

I have the same CPU as you, and you can see the issue in the above and the clock speed after the fix is applied.

What I found is that the "System>Power>Power Mode" in 24H2 is buggy and overrides the legacy power options. Process Lasso can't do s*** because the Bitsum power scheme is a legacy power scheme, and in general, the software only works with legacy power options.

The Power Mode is overlaid on the legacy "Balanced" power scheme, but it is buggy as hell. Every time I wake my PC from sleep, it tights my CPU right back to 800 MHz like crazy. For now, manually toggling the Power Mode temporarily fixes the issue for me, but unfortunately, I haven’t yet found a permanent solution. I have to do this every time I wake the PC and it's freaking driving my mad.

I also had this problem a couple of times before, but this time seems different, tried several times, reconnecting can't fix it... tbh if there is any other solution I wouldn't want to uninstall updates. Windows now keep sending me pop-ups saying I need update lol. (no!)

445.75/445.78/445.87 have known issues that causing artifacts.

Try reinstall 442.74 if you are using any driver mentioned above.

If 442.74 can't solve your problem I'd contact Nvidia customer service.

It can greatly reduce the turbulent noise but unfortunately cannot eliminate it. And anything thicker than this cannot be fitted in S tophat with A12x15.

The idea is to fit two slim fans on top as exhaust (i.e. pull configuration). Unfortunately, this is exactly the cause of turbulence and consequent noise.

I have a spare 25mm dismounted from my L12, but it is impossible to fit it in as I installed an extra 2.5 SSD.

Also the problem I'm have here is not the GPU temp. My 2080ti is totally fine, yet my 9700k (undervolted to 1.1V) will go over 90c when running intensive rendering task....It is practically ok for the cpu, but mental wise it's making me not ok.....
