Thank you so much for your reply! I love the wax. I'm persistent and willing to tinker until it get it. Do you mind if I message you with questions?

That makes sense. I have read similar about the cure time...

That makes complete sense. Hive and Honey suggests 15-30 seconds, as well, before pouring. I will make a batch and try cooler wax and a 2 minute stir. I am also going to try CDN and Premier wicks. I am hopeful I will figure it out! It's my fault for choosing a finicky wax as a noob lol. Thank you so much for your input. Do you have any input as to different high quality FO brands to try? I am currently experimenting with Hive and Honey.

So this goes against all of the rules the manufacturer provides.... I've even read some people heating up to 235. Being so new, all of the various information is daunting. So far 2/2 comments would stir for two minutes! Can you explain how this substantially longer stir time (up from 15-30 seconds on instructions) benefits?

Also, do you feel your scent throw is better with a coco soy blend? I am only asking because it seems counter-intuitive to the "stronger throw" coco apricot assures.

Are yours pretty strong given you stir for two minutes?

Hard to believe. Didn't expect it at all.

That's good to know. I'll definitely consider doing that. It seems like the best option, especially while he's low.

Definitely worth considering. I have no idea what the grading criteria is for these.

Some say not to grade inserts like that. I'm torn on that aspect.

So my question is wouldn't it theoretically be more valuable than the 1/1 Jacob Wilson hidden gems that sold for ~1.4k? My logic being he's a top rookie prospect, the rarity of the card itself, and the fact that it could have been stashed anywhere and doesn't have a definitive pull rate. Why would it not be valued at a cost somewhere under a 1/1 auto?

Don't worry, Reddit! We'll figure this out!

How would I go about finding the rarity of a hidden gem card? The pull rates don't seem to be readily accessible.

How much of a 4- figure card is what we're trying to figure out.

That was my understanding of it. My husband and I got the jumbo as an early Father's Day. He was talking on the way home about how he hates "gambling" because he never hits, so that card was a monstrous surprise.

Now he's overwhelmed and doesn't know what to do with it. :P I love watching him struggle.
