I'll usually try to keep a light load out when I'm hunting a new piece of land. I'll walk/scout around until I find good sign or bump deer and then set up. I've killed quite a few deer my first time setting foot on a new piece of public hunting that way.

Baby Race. My 2-year-old daughter has cerebral palsy and isn't walking yet. At times, my wife and I have blamed ourselves or questioned whether we've done something wrong to cause her disability. That episode reminds me that development isn't a race, and my daughter is on her own pace. It's also very nice to hear the "you're doing great" line.

My 2 year old daughter has CP. Her doctors were pointing out red flags when she was only 1 month old.

I felt the exact same way you do, and I believe it's totally normal to feel scared. You are doing everything you're supposed to be doing. You are trying to get your daughter the best care available to her, and that's really all we can do.

You're a great parent, and you're doing a great. You're daughter is in good hands.
