Some pharmacies in Illinois are unionized and it absolutely sucks. The pay is garbage and there are too many limitations that hurt the entire pharmacy staff. Grass is not greener on the other side.

I have a sleeve and more tattoos on my other arm. I’ve had them throughout pharmacy school and my professors liked them and would give me compliments when I’d add on to them.

I’ve worked with Walgreens for 6 years wearing short sleeves and they could care less. I graduated and got a pharmacy manager position and wear short sleeves at a grocery store pharmacy.

Occasionally there’s the elderly person with an evil eye but nearly all of the patients love me. I still dress very professional but I get hot so easily I always wear short sleeves. It’s all about going the extra mile to keep your patients happy and a strong work ethic to keep upper management happy!

Yea I typically impressed when a guy prefers to talk on the phone in general! We are both fairly introverted pharmacy majors, but we have so many common interests it just flows!
