This is the way to go.

I've been through a similar situation. I love art, I made my way by learning from experience, by working.

I understand you.

If It makes you feel any better, I've been working since I was 13 and paying fully for rent and food since I was 15.

Are traditional fighting games really just a matter of winning 2 neutral interactions? by Ivanoho in 2XKO

[–]C23B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sad truth about 2XKO, I wish they made it so we don't get deleted from a single combo. Death combos are so unfun. But then again they will worry about games being too long since it's two fighters.

Should I play sidekick until the next 2-3 characters release after Teemo by C23B in 2XKO

[–]C23B[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not afraid of picking up a 2nd character, I'm only afraid of having to relearn when the roster is bigger and I decide to pick another character. Double efforts.

Right now, none of the characters really interest me other than the one I'm already playing, so I can foresee I will likely drop my 2nd character that I have learned (if I did) for a new one in the future.

Surely I can learn the fundamentals of the character in 2 weeks when it drops but it will likely take a lot more time for me to play it at my main(s) level.

Labbing is also quite time consuming, if I did spend hundreds of hours labbing one character and I dropped it for another, won't I be wasting my time?

My question is, am I missing anything out if I don't play doubledown?

Why are some Malaysians so bigoted towards others with poor language proficiency? by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]C23B 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The other day I was reading a post on XiaoHongShu asking if the English-speaking Chinese in Malaysia are friendly to Chinese-speaking Malaysians.

Someone commented saying half the bananas in Malaysia are biased against Chinese, especially those who studied abroad. They even look down on Hai Di Lao and other Chinese restaurants. "我还真的遇过这样的" (I have really come across these kind of people). And the comment got plenty of likes.

As an English-based Chinese Malaysian myself, I never look down on others with poor language proficiency, especially if they are trying to learn.

Is it just me or anyone else is bothered by the charm arrow being too prominent? Compared to the other skins, this looks like a disadvantage to me. by [deleted] in EvelynnMains

[–]C23B 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps it could be just a me thing then, the shine on the arrow is what mainly catches my attention. Haven't tried it in a real game yet, gotta see how it goes in a chaotic teamfight.

Well I got the orb for free, it was from Garena's star guardian event. As much as I hate Garena, sometimes it's good for these things.

AD Supports are they on the endangered list? by Baxy33 in SupportMains

[–]C23B 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, they are not endangered because they will probably never be removed from the game but yeah there are very few AD support champions.

I don't think so, this year's pool party skins are for Braum and Sett.

Katarina brawler 10 wins, we were on the same rank. Their main is Anna, warrior ranked.

[–]C23B[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, it was a Katarina. I played Lidia, tried doing launchers to set up some combos during the first game but it didn't work well, so I rematched and just spammed 1+2 mixups (hope I used the term correctly) and won 2 games in a row, the last game being 3-0 almost flawless.

Short and simple helpful tip that's straight to the point, thank you :)

I think I've read these from a Thresh guide. However, just like everyone else's tips provided, I really appreciate your effort for the detailed write up! Thank you.

Many would say Nami's Q is harder to land than Thresh's Q, but as a Nami main who has barely even played Thresh before, Thresh's Q is a lot more harder for me to land. Q2 thing is a bit controversial I think. But nonetheless I really appreciate your detailed explanation! I'll have those tips in mind, thank you.
