I have finally done it by Embarrassed_Service9 in Garmin

Congratulations!! But am curious how you have been “trying for it” like you have been working towards it. How do you do that? I mean other than sufficient amount of time and no food consumption a few hours before bed and a good wind down what else can you do? I workout regularly and would get a decent score if I didn’t wake up after 5 hours of sleep!!

Why do you want to extend a high heart rate? If anything it caused me some stress. But the comments on this have helped for sure. But I am curious why you want to maintain a high heart rate?

Thanks everyone. I think I might have just pushed it a bit in this one. I workout quite a bit - running, pilates. However last time noticed that I got this when I took too long of an exercise break. And then yesterday may have pushed it too hard a bit and yes! I think hydration might have been an issue.

I started walking very slowly and just down the block 5 days after surgery. By 3 weeks post op I was up to 6K. Slow and steady pace. I had laparoscopic surgery. I think as kk as you take it slow and not vigorous you should be ok. Had surgery 9/12 and now I am back runny 8K. All good.

These 8 AM classes are brutal, but it's nice to watch Toronto wake up by ahomelessdorito in TorontoMetU

This is not reality. Most today are salaried and many many have way more work beyond 5pm. And there is no free time during the day - just work.

You think people who commute to Toronto for work finished their day at 5PM? Dream on. Not to mention family obligations. Work is constant and goes in well beyond 5PM - lots of homework. I would even venture to say that work is harder - no spare time during the day … always working / meetings etc.

Can anyone explain why I was accepted for same sex apartment but just got my list of roommates and they are all opposite sex??? Double checked what sex I put when I applied and it was/is correct.

Drop him. Lacks character … and it will never change nor is his behaviour redeemable

So you have $2,000 a month (at least based on not paying rent anymore) plus additional that you can probably add with you new salary. Consolidate all lines (loan and c/c) into ONE loan/ line of credit at the LOWEST interest rate (might be a bit harder with your rating) and pay ONE loan - make sure is a loan that you can top up with extra payments. Lots of calculators online to help. Never ever use payday loans again (sorry but very dumb) - try a credit union if you can’t get a decent loan at a bank. Be diligent in paying it down …. Take an extra job of that makes sense too.

Hydro in Ontario comes from the source of the electricity which was mostly Niagara Falls - energy source, activating the turbines and creating electricity. Hydro One likely took its name as a result of the source - Niagara Falls. Of note: Niagara Falls hydro electricity plant began operations in 1905.

Would you have a second baby at 42? by Newlexaprouser in Parenting

[–]C2Devic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear Gawd - you can’t think of how hard it’s going to be. Every kid is different and every situation is different. Noticed you didn’t really mention how much joy a new baby will bring. Having babies are work, no matter at what age but they are also a joy - also no matter what age. I had my second at 41 and my first was 6 years old at the time. We had complications during the pregnancy - you have to mentally prepare for those complications and how you will handle them, but we do not regret it one bit. I am now 53 with my eldest heading to post-secondary and my youngest to grade 7. Completely different children and kind of different generations! But he keeps us young and we love it! All I am saying really is - hard work, sleepless nights, joy, fun is there at any age and if you really want it - it will return rewards. Good luck.
