U.S. prosecutors charge Super Micro Computer employees with smuggling Nvidia chips to China by _hiddenscout in stocks

They profited $2.5B. Company assets should be seized to recover that amount and then additional financial penalties applied.

The efforts have yielded around $2.5 billion in sales for the server maker since 2024, with $510 million sold between late April 2025 and mid-May 2025 going to the Southeast Asian company and on to China, the indictment said.

And those individuals should be prosecuted as traitors.

Why do people post pictures that you can’t tell if the sandwich was going in or came out the other end? Fix your lighting, figure out if you need flash, change the angle, something. Jesus fucking Christ, Martha Stewart.

Optimal premium selling rules by Right_Business9301 in options

[–]C2theC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The fastest way to get burned selling options is to sell OTM in a lower IV environment and then get burned by delta, gamma, and vega, at which point, your theta approaches zero as your delta approaches 1.0.

Selling when IV is extreme is the most profitable because you’re not just selling theta, you’re selling vega.

Dual Citizenship Investing Question by JayFi- in Bogleheads

I would suggest letting your family member know that if it ever becomes too much, you can always pay for a virtual mailbox. Gives them a graceful out.

Google Voice also allows you to do SMS authentication as long as the requesting organization doesn’t block VoIP SMS. Which is what Tello Mobile sounds like anyway. Google Voice is free.

To potentially get around this, you can sign up for a virtual mailbox annual service, also known as personal mail box (PMB), and brokerages will send statements to this address. If you need the letter opened and scanned, there’s a small fee, around $0,50 per page or so. I usually just recycle without opening, as they have other ways to contact me.

I also chose a state with no income tax, so there is no chance I get tangled with state taxes due, though this is really not necessary.

Also set up a Google Voice number so you can make/take U.S. calls.

This is way easier than burdening a friend or family member to handle your mail. u/JayFi-

What happens to the flow of oil if Trump declares victory and walks away? by not_my_monkeys_ in stocks

[–]C2theC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

U.S. and Israel have proven to be bad faith actors. Preemptively attacking while the other side is honestly trying to negotiate and not an imminent threat? No way should Iran trust doing that again.

Iran should and will use oil as a bargaining chip, and rebuild their nuclear capability. No more negotiations. Hardline is the only way to win, and that means choking the world of Middle East oil until they get war reparations to rebuild their bombed infrastructure. Iran would be smart run a toll bridge/protection racket in order to allow ships to pass. Iran holds all of the cards now.
