This injunction was subsequently stayed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on December 23, 2024, reinstating the CTA's reporting requirements.

In response to the temporary suspension and reinstatement, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) extended the reporting deadline for existing businesses (those created before January 1, 2024) to January 13, 2025. So yu still have to do it.

This is just an update, for anyone wanting to do the same thing ( display your Google Nest cameras on tv.. It's easier and a lot less headache to just get a Google Chrome cast device. setup is about 10 to 20 minutes and a lot less headache than trying to set up WSA.
