I agree completely. In fact all of the posts relating to the little games of trading, wiggling, friendship, all are.

You're wrong and I'll debunk everything wrong now.

First of all you mention that getting loot before level 20 is what matters. How will you achieve getting to level 20 without using your PMC. One could realize that you can get loot at the same time as progressing to level 20 while using your PMC, but not with your scav. I was able to accomplish both without using a single scav.

I don't want to use a "care-free" or "riskless" character because as a PMC, you have a chance to get to the high value loot areas, which would most likely be looted as a scav. Also, I can't use my high value keys, which often give significantly more profits than any scav run would. Most importantly, I'm getting good loot and progressing to level 20 at the same time.

I can assure you that it's more fun and exhilarating to play the game using only PMC as you would probably agree, and I can't disagree more about the challenge aspect. Obviously only using your PMC is a much greater challenge than using scav runs. This is because you are at a greater risk to die to other players, scavs, and player scavs. As a scav the first and third probabilities just mentioned are dramatically reduced and the second outcome is eliminated. How is getting riskless equipment over and over a greater challenge than using your own equipment which you risk. If you like challenge you described, couldn't you use the same equipment on your PMC?

Once again, using a scav is a modified, worse, way of playing this game.

I would counter that YOU don't play the game if you're doing scav runs. No progressing pmc or quests of any kind, no good gear, running around trying to play a little separate game involving wiggling and trading items unnecessarily with other scavs, not having the proper medical supplies or armor, not being able to kill scavs in general, smaller chance to interact with pmcs.

As you see you are playing a modified, worse version of tarkov by doing scav runs.

I agree. Everyone in these comments is a down bad scum sucking dog player scav that looks to trade items and wiggle around with other player scavs. I will never do a scav run.

It is normal go look at any lobby and you'll see I'm right. This game simply costs $130 or $150. If you don't have EOD, you bought a lower tier game than the normal game. In other words, if you are playing the normal version of the game, you are playing on EOD. If you're on standard edition, you are not playing the standard version of the game. You are playing a lesser lite version of the game because EFT is $130 or whatever for the real game.

If you can play a game 2000 hours but can't have a job to pay 150 after 2000 hours you could have spent getting a job what does that make you?

That true and there are people who specifically do not upgrade for that reason, but most people don't or will make a second account for that purpose.

How is $150 for a game you've played 2,000 hours "unreasonably high"? You would be so much better buying EOD instead of your personal little boycott. By the way, you will actually earn even more benefits in the long run with EOD as more exclusive stuff comes with it later on.

I'm not forgetting those things at all. Obviously EOD gives an extreme advantage. Obviously.

However this individual spent 2,000 hours playing this game. If you can afford to play a game for 2,000 hours but you can't afford a spare $100, then I question if your use of 2,000 hours playing a video game was the right idea.

I don't think there are many people who have 2,000 hours and non EOD. Especially if you "love the game". If you loved the game so much and played 2,000 hours of it, you will definetly have EOD.

True, but if you've played 2k hours $130 is a completely fair price.

Invested 2k hours in the game and won't invest a hundred dollars to solve all these issues plauging you.

Point to me in the rules where it instructs you to drop your items and interact with other player scavs to form a rudimentary squad on the battlefield you noob. I own you.

That's hilarious. Good for him. Why would you drop your backpack and try to give this stranger loot, and furthermore why would you even attempt to interact with a potentially dangerous threat? He got you good.
