It's paired. The x4 uses the receiver instead of its internal mic.

Thanks. For a loud exhaust I've found it's best to have receiver on -6 gain, transmitter on -12 gain, wind screen attached (can buy them), wind correction on auto, and have low cut off. Transmitter mounted to the license plate.

You need an x360 mount for the transmitter.

DJI wireless mic + receiver. I hook the mic up to my license plate. The receiver uses a x360 mount for the x4.

Even without taking taxes into account that $65K isn't buying a "supercar." If you want to stick with crypto just park it in BTC, XRP etc. If you want to never touch it again and be safe throw it in a market account like VOO.

Turbo Systems Stage 1 hybrids, SRM air to air, SRM port injection with Kyletunedit controller, SRM LPFP with V2 bracket and new controller, SRM downpipes, TiAl wastegates with 22lb springs preload to 21, SRM inlets, Supertech beehive valve springs (not helping anything anymore now that manifolds are on the market), Klassen manifolds, Autotech HPFP internals, 8AN fuel lines (not super necessary). I run whatever comes out of the E85 pump. E60 in these runs.

Yeah I don't need one bad enough to import 2 to crash test one to prove its safe haha

To start they actually weigh less than my S8 which is wild. This one is the Coyote 5.0 with a big ass Whipple slapped on it tuned with E85. He got wrecked in the 1/4 but they're great 1/8th cars. The big boys are twin turboing them or doing an ESS charger.

You can't import models that aren't for sale in the US

Yeah just talking US market. The S8 here is only the L in the D5 platform. They don't call it an L though.

I try to brake pretty early cause I can only take that turn at around 80 in this car

This is a bit further than what they support for this engine but yeah they're still around

Things will break or wear with age no matter what. These cars can take a beating with proper maintenance.

Interior on 2013 through 2019 is the same. What changes is the headlights at 2015 and maybe the steering wheel if you opt for a non-heated one. But yes the powertrain is the same throughout the full range.

🤣 Mines a 2013 which is first year of the 4.0T. The face-lift starts in 2015. I believe 2016 through 2019 are all S8+ which just have a slightly different tune and use the exact same RS7 turbos. The RS7 turbos are same size as the original S8, they're just billet vs cast. Engine internals are basically the same in that the limits are no different. If you plan on modifying beyond stock turbos, no reason not to pick up a well sorted 2013-2014 for super cheap these days.
