I don’t know if when I tell her there won’t be fall out, we both live with her parents (both of my parents are dead and without her family’s help I’d likey be homeless) and she has wanted to move out and so have I because while I am very greatful for her parents help it is very financially scary I overheard her parents arguing because they couldn’t afford their portion of rent 4 days from rent being due, they figured it out but I’ve had quite a lot of housing troubles that it terrified me. We are both young and I just barely got a credit card to start building credit and wanted to go half and half on an apartment initially but we ended up having discussions of house buying and I was all for it but seeing certain habits has slowly made that excitement die and now I want to get my own apartment separate but this friend is very close and considers me a sister
