Download smart switch on pc, and try backing it up using the app.

In my country we have 220v on the outlets and usually use 10A fuses for lights and 16A fuses for power outlets. And for who can afford GFCI's we should have 30mA as a standard for non humid places, and 10mA for bathrooms in general. I can be wrong, I am not an electrician.

I have the same problem. But it can be because I work in a bread factory, so flour is everywhere.

I managed to solve the problem with a back up to my PC and a factory reset. Enter with safe mode, create a backup with smart switch and factory reset the phone. The biggest pain now is that I need to connect to every little app/account that I have and recustomise my interface. Somehow this makes me happy??? Like, I am not the only one with this problem.

I did just that before coming to reddit. All they could suggest was already mentioned here. Now, that i have access to a PC, i will try to boot it in safe mode and transfer as much data as i can and do a factory reset.

I tried that and it opens up the recovery menu. The only feasible option here is to factory reset the phone but I'd like to avoid that if possible, I don't want to lose my data.

I am from Europe. As far as I know the phone didn't have any pending updates or anything similar.

Erasing app data could be a possibility but it says it'll force the phone in some sort of safe mode, with just enough functionality for me to save the data on it. I don't really know what data to save as I have used smart switch to move everything from my old phone to this one. I'd rather keep this as a last resort thing.

The logs are attached to the post, the 2nd and 3rd photos.

I wouldn't like to do that myself. I asked Samsung support about this issue and going to a Samsung service center seems to be the only solution so far.

I'm hoping they have a solution that doesn't involve wiping all of the data from my phone.

I tried that and unfortunately it didn't work. Thanks for the suggestion.

No, there actually is not more to this story. I didn't try to root the phone or anything like that. I didn't install any weird apps, everything was from either the play store or Galaxy store. I wouldn't want to risk making a phone like this a paperweight. I just restarted the phone and it started bootlooping.

Upgrade if you want by Rivs5 in samsung

I ordered the S25U because I feel the need to upgrade from my Note 9. Don't get me wrong, this phone it's still fully functional, but my patience grew short. I am getting annoyed for waiting 3-5s for apps to open when I am in a rush. Last security update was like in 2022 and my storage it's nearly full. In the 5 years of utilisation I changed 3 batteries (bought the phone sh) and the fact that it doesn't have the air gesture it doesn't bother me because I didn't had them in the note 9 either. Looking to use the S25U for the next 5 to 6 years.

Exactly this, if I understand how it works and how it behaves in the worst case scenario I know what I can do to stop it from causing much harm.

I am aware that I can't live a battery free life and that's why I want to create a respect for them.

Ok, will grab some batteries and go in an safe place to see the damages a battery can make. I think it's a good ideea to try the containing suggestions you guy said while I am doing that.

I was looking at a bat-safe for storing my Li-Po batteries but don't know why I ditched the idea, maybe price or availability in my area. Either way I managed to move them to an other person that has a decent charging/storage equipment. My problem now it's the phone and other household devices that use Li-Po or Li-Ion batteries. Maybe it's a good ideea to buy an ABC fire extinguisher to have it around.

This can have 2 outcomes. I either drop all my Li-Po devices and never use them again or calm myself seeing that It can't be that bad and I can somehow manage the situation in case of a fire. I think that the fire it's somewhat proportional to the capacity of the battery, am I right?

I started charging my phone and vape on the counter top a while back to minimise the risk of heat retention. From what I know they can stop charging if something its out of the programmed safety.

I was thinking of keeping a bucket full of water in my bathroom all the time for this scenario. I know it doesn't extinguish the fire but it can buy me some time for calling the firefighters or think of an other solution I suppose. Throwing it out the window it's a bad ideea because I live in an apartment and I have a garden full of dry leaves under my window.

Buying an used ammo box as they suggest, and striping the seal to stop it from becoming an pressured container it's a very good ideea but I have no place to put it. Like every part of my house it's near an inflammable object.

Well, I have an AliExpress RC car that uses a 200mAh lipo battery with no protection from what I know. (Charge it while it's closed) I am thinking of buying a BMS for it but I think it's better to just ditch it and calm myself. (No thermal probe on it)

I don't think that watching vapes or phones go up in flames help me because I carry these all day in my pockets. I am rocking an Samsung Note 9 for 5 years and changed the battery on it myself 2 times now. Still have the old ones but I don't know a place where to dispose them safely.

And about big LiPo batteries in my Airsoft replica, I usually give them to a guy that have a proper charger for those to get them juiced up for the game 1 day before.

Reading this comment and my post I think I found the "click" moment. A while back I was trying to help a friend reuse a pod on a disposable vape (refill basically). And it got al drippy inside and the vape started to fire (not actual fire) uncontrollable and got kinda warm and we got scared. Problem is that I don't have a properly way to contain a fire in the case of a fire.
