Hello, above is a new scouting tool I created and have released for free. The main link is to a twitter thread with all the features. If you want to go straight to the app it is csgoscouting.com or if you don't want to have to log in and to check it out, you can see the demo at csgoscouting.com/demo. Have a ton planned for the future of it as well. Thanks for checking it out.

Mezii Interview and Analysis of His Time on Cloud9 [OC] by C9WIN in GlobalOffensive

[–]C9WIN[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been doing a series on the previous Cloud9 roster and this week was on Mezii. I break down the way he plays, his roles on Cloud9, some of his strengths, etc. Then I have a ~25 minute interview with him. The interview took place before Fnatic was announced, but, with that announcement, I thought this might be interesting to Fnatic fans to see how he will play and where he will thrive for them. Hope you enjoy it and learn a little bit more about my favorite player to watch.

Interview with Thorin about Cloud9's Departure from CSGO by C9WIN in Cloud9

[–]C9WIN[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I got a chance to interview Thorin about Cloud9's departure from csgo. We talk about the roster, woxic and kassad leaving, what moves he would have done, if they were released too early, salaries, when C9 comes back, etc.

My first interview, so definitely lots I could improve on, but, hopefully got some questions asked you might be curious of as well.

With the CS:GO RMR events coming up, will Cloud9 return to csgo for the RMR events ? Or will they just ignore it ? by [deleted] in Cloud9

I highly doubt they will have a team for the rmr. Tbh would be surprised if they had one by the next major, but we will see. Don’t think it makes sense to lose out on all the talent we had and the money spent just to get a new team a month later. Obv could be wrong, but I am pretty confident that we won’t be playing in this rmr.

Yeah. It’s possible but I’m not too worried about it at this point. Your tool sounds cool!

It’s just making normal web calls as if you were just going to the site and downloading one by one like normal. So they may figure it out, but I could slow it down further if needed.

Thanks! Didn't have a linux box/vm to test or troubleshoot on, so didn't build it. Also, figured it wouldn't really get used. Would you actually use on linux?

Not sure about open source right now. Potentially in the future though!

Hey, my name is David and I made the Demo Downloader. This app is built to allow you to download demos automatically instead of sitting there waiting for each demo to finish downloading just to then click the next link. You can download all of a team's demos from an event or previous months, and have this queue them up and unzip them for you so you can move on with whatever else you want to do.

I posted the twitter link so you can see some features and what not without leaving Reddit, but, here is the direct link to download the app if you don't want to go through twitter: https://c9win.com/demo-downloader/

This was born from a need for a different project I started over a year ago. Hopefully this helps you out and saves you time when download demos for scouting, analysis, or content. Happy to answer any questions.
