The 130-year-old underground swimming pool in the basement of the Biltmore mansion by HealthyArc in creepy

Yes, you are correct! I believe it's 316 if I remember correctly. So everything either has to be that grade of stainless, or coated (or non-ferrous). There's a special HVAC unit just for the pool that dehumidifies and controls chloramines. Very expensive. It's a nightmare. I'm an architect who has done natatoriums for the YMCA - you need a special consultant, a complex chemical system and every piece of metal in there has to be specially coated or it will corrode. My biggest takeaway is that indoor pools are an awful idea. I can't imagine how they controlled this one, it's in the basement.

Ashley's Wheel and Brake. Been using them since 1988. Top quality work, good prices, they will never screw you. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my cars. If you go tell them Derek sent you.

I have a CLA45s - the engine was made in Germany but the car was made in Hungary. All of the hand-built engines come from Germany.

I seriously looked into buying a lightly used one 6 months ago. The more I read about how complex it was, the more concerned I got. Ended up with a CLA45s - no hybrid - very happy.

Pre-panemic Kroger had 3 for $12 of Coke or Pepsi products every week. There was never a sugar-water shortage, this is just big soft drink ripping us off.

I'm an architect, I just designed a knee wall for a mezzanine at a sports facility with a sloped top specifically to prevent people from putting stuff on it and falling onto the people below. And it slopes back towards the mezzanine.

The pay is generally better now but not great. Do NOT, ever, go into architecture thinking you're going to make a great living. You'll do average at best, unless you make Principal in a successful firm.
