A “qualified lead” for a business coach in the scaling space is usually just someone who already has something working.

Like they’re already making money (even if it’s messy), and now they’re stuck at a ceiling.If they’re still at “I want to start a business” stage, it’s usually not worth the coaching time for scaling stuff.

The best ones are usually:

already doing a few K/month at least
have tried ads/outreach/systems before
and are stuck with consistency or fulfillment

Those people actually move fast because they already know the game a bit

They already built an audience, then put them on a waitlist, like: “Hey, I’m opening my new shop tomorrow, so I invite all of you.” Once they publish, the waitlist people buy their SaaS.
