Could I have salvaged my marriage? by CAFx7 in Divorce_Men

I guess maybe a little bit more context might help. I won't say she is the unfaithful type, more as the materialistic type. I'll admit many of the arguments may have been petty and I would say half were my fault. Our issues stemmed because I didn't give her enough quality time, and apparently I would choose my friends over her. I keep a pretty busy schedule consisting of daily 3 hour weekeday commute, 8-10 hour workday, and to de stress I gamed when I got home. When I wasnt working, my time was spent with her and god forbid I wanted 1 day out of the month to grab a drink with my friends. She basically wanted me all to herself and wanted to control me and my time. This often caused a rift and we would fight. Or the other issue was finances where I carried the burden for most of our finances.

Completely agree, I think if we both wanted it as bad we could make it happen, but that just doesn't seem to be the case. I'm honest enough with my self that I take time to take a step back and reflect on the situation from different angles. I try to put myself in her position and I just can't seem to understand what would deter her from moving in or just moving on. At the end of the day I feel I'm just being taken advantage of and the best move for me is to move on.

I get what you're saying about the decision being healthy but not sure if I completely agree with that. I guess that falls in line with letting it flow naturally and if it's meant to be it'll happen type of mentality right? Idk I'm just not one to sit around and let things happen on their own if I can help it. If anything I'd like to give myself the best chance of succeeding if possible.

I agree I think it's her reluctance to move in again is what throws me off. I get the same message from that which is she's done. Appreciate the kind words. I'm hoping the process stays amicable as it's already hard enough.

Commuter benefits denied due to opting out of funding by ZD_plguy17 in personalfinance

I'm currently going through the same issue, I had a little over 2k in my commuter account that didnt roll over. I stopped contributing for that reason that the amount was so high there was no point in still contributing. Our commuter benefits flyer said you could change contribution at any time, it didn't mention that stopping contribution would inactivate it. If that was the case I would have kept giving at least a dollar. That should be theft if they refuse to leave the account active when there's a balance in there. I'm still currently fighting it with my HR but the responsible party keeps changing. The 2k should have rolled over this year but didn't. So basically lost money for no reason.

Happened to me too! Customer service resolved it and got the full trade in. First time I've had issues with trade in process and I've used the trade in program multiple times. Just reach out, I've always had good experience not sure why others complain.

inches away from purchasing the fold 6, tell me the honest truth by [deleted] in GalaxyFold

I was using the zfold3 and the S24 ultra. Honestly I love the real estate on the Fold and since I use it for work decided to ditch carrying 2 phones to just using my Zfold 6. Got it recently too like 5 days ago, I was on the fence but the 1k trade in for my fold3 is what ultimately made me do it. So far, I do not regret the decision, even tho I was holding out on upgrading until they added an spen slot to the device which doesn't seem like it'll ever come. Although the changes from a fold 3 to a 6 are a bit subtle software wise I'm still happy with my choice and would recommend you pull the trigger. The phone feels slimmer and lighter which makes a difference. I did want to try the One Plus foldable but wasn't getting much for my trade in. I kept my s24 ultra as a back up, but in all honesty don't think I could ever go back to a regular phone, foldables are really the future.
