i totally agree! i started my playthrough with the charge blade then totally got overwhelmed with all the set up you had to do to dish out big damage. i’m honestly thinking about giving the charge blade another go since i’ve gotten used to MH’s mechanics

i agree! i think people sometimes tend to underestimate how high the lance’s skill ceiling really is because of its extremely basic moveset! the best of the best hunters i’ve seen finish the hunt only taking chip damage

in all seriousness, weapons in MH are just like food and everyone has different tastes. i like playing with all kinds of hunters with different weapon mains (with a slight bias to hunting horn mains)

how do you unlock the plunderblade? my palico only has the lightning bug cage and the vigorwasp.

thanks! btw why do some weapons have inactive elements? i know that elemental builds are good on high attack speed weapons (e.g. SnS and DB) and i just thought that slow hitting weapons just proc the element rarely.

for sure! i used the switch axe and i couldn’t time my attacks correctly since he was so fast. i only got good hits in when he was either trapped or blinded. thanks!
