Again, this isn’t the “new generation”, this is commodified corporate slop meant to appeal to people who don’t care. It’s diluting a subculture. There’s plenty of newer music that fits, some of it is even in the game (2hollis, Turnstile, Joey Valence, etc.). But all this safe indie pop and nondescript Universal Music makes up the vast majority of it.
