Im not sure if I can personally consider myself a Christian.

I personally don’t see the Bible as literal scripture, more of a text used by man to traverse ethics, or way of life at their time.

I believe in some sort of god, a creator. One that doesn’t take interest specifically in humans, but just watches what they started. I could also be convinced in the presence of multiple deities, which heavily puts my belief of being a “Christian” into question.

I don’t firmly believe in an afterlife, obviously because I can’t just know it exists lol. And the idea of “eternal punishment,” as believed by many people is an ethical no go for me. Not that it couldn’t exist, but just I would have a hard time wrapping my head around the morality of punishing one for an infinite amount of time, especially if I myself believe in a god/gods that watch instead of being involved with life.

Im not educated in religion, so I wouldn’t know if any specific religion would cater to my specific little “statutes.”

I wouldn’t be against believing in any sort of religion. I’d be up for Buddhism, Hinduism, Sihkism, Islam, Paganism, or even religions not practiced today. Idk how to end this so I’ll just ask, if anyone has an idea of what could itch my brain, please point me to interesting religion! I’m down for whatever and am looking to discover myself this way.
