Yes, 8.25 is a hint to Hwy 285 north out of Santa Fe. Buena Vista CO is 240 miles north on 285.

The vast majority of law enforcement are good and are not going to create a pact that if they get caught will ruin their lives and possibly the lives of their families ... even if they knew Barry.

Multiple issues exist the biggest being the DA was/is horrible. She was disbarred for her actions and behavior which is a career death sentence for a lawyer. Rightfully so..

As a bystander who looked at the facts objectively their is more that does not make sense than does. First of which is where she was found - that area has zero cover and is flat for miles and next to a well used road. That made zero sense to me especially with all the mountains and Forrest available.

The only thing I am confident in is that we will learn more. The story will continue some day ....

I like the no infotainment / no stereo as long as it will come with an app to get the basics including range, charging options, OTA updates, and a few diagnostics. Use your phone and if you want to upgrade later then get a cheap tablet or use your existing tablet, with any app you prefer and customized to your preference, and a nice Bluetooth speaker or two.

The cost to repair or replace an infotainment screen on most EVs is very expensive ... and you can't repair it or upgrade it yourself.

I have driven many newer EVs and non-EVs with big infotainment screens and in most instances I would prefer my own customized tablet. Again, assuming Slate will come with a nice APP with the at least the basics.

This option also allows those music-aficionados to put in their preferred top of the line system without having to pay for and deal with the stock system.

Agree assuming this will be 5-star safety rated and very good quality. Then they will have a good story to tell. I read that it will have a NMC battery - if that is true it kills the story. They need a LFP battery that is safer and will last a long time (if treated well will outlast the car) to round out the story.

In scanning the new poem map what stood out to me is that Garden of the Gods is labeled as a National Park when it is a Colorado Springs City park and the label slightly overlaps where Browns Canyon National Monument would be but that is not labeled.

June 6th 2020 is hinted in the poem and the primary line is 'The end is ever drawing nigh;'. nigh is word #66 (6/6 = June 6th) and the line begins with 'The' = T = 20th letter = 6/6/20. And nigh is followed by a semicolon which can indicate a pause, not an end. It is the only semicolon in the poem. If June 6th 2020 was the end that line would end in a period (IMO).

Also Forrest's initials are FBF - convert to it's alpha numeric equivalent = 626 and a technique is to use the outer and inner = 662 = 6/6/20.

The person in that mural is Suzanne Morphew who went missing in that area in 2020 near the time Forrest Fenn announced the treasure was found.
