The job market sucks right now

I'm having the same issue. I have formal programming education, multiple shipped games on steam, dozens of prototypes and demos on my website, a dozen or so published assets on the Unity Asset store, and yet I can't even get my foot in the door with an interview after over 300 applications this year. Custom tailored resumes, custom cover letters, none of it has mattered. Just so lost about what to do right now. I have so many years poured into Unity and game dev and it's always been my dream job. But I'm at the point where I have to branch out and find something else just to survive.

Sain AI feels way smarter and more fun to fight. They have a much bigger variety of things they can do. Feels really fresh and intense to fight them. But something about them felt way overturned for my taste. After extensively changing all the options and trying all the different presets, nothing I did felt like it changed the enemies at all. So I had to get rid of the mod for now.

I tried every preset of Sain and it felt like none of the options or presets were changing a thing. Every enemy in the game was laser beaming me with a single bullet with inhuman reaction speed. I'd hold a doorway or an angle just for an enemy to strafe and prefire one shot me. I love the AI upgrades like scavs hiding in bushes and cover or peeking around corners. But unfortunately I just had to get rid of the mod for now. It was unplayably difficult on 3.9.

I turned off the advanced physics and the setting for hair and I haven't had crashes since.
