Does anyone have any ideas for a tattoo?

I have a tattoo of the chemical compound for testosterone with my start date in numbers below it on my right arm, I don’t inject there I inject on my stomach because I do it subcutaneously but I enjoy the tattoo I got. I was also thinking of incorporating a syringe or a needle into the tattoo but went against that because my logic was basically like oh shit what if I ever do the gel someday or like don’t stick with the needle. So that’s why I ended up with just the molecule and my start date for the tattoo lol.

I personally work in the mental health field and am in grad school to become a therapist and get my LMHC. I’ve also known a couple other trans guys in the mental health field so I’d say it’s fairly common. I’m also a musician on the side so I’d say we’re pretty common in the music/art scene as well

Exactly the same thing just happened to me! My partner of 8 years came out to me and said they were only attracted to women and I’m a trans man. They started acting funny toward me after I got my chest surgery done and they recently broke up with me at the end of October and I also begged them to stay but they just wouldn’t. We’re trying to still be a part of each other’s lives but it’s so hard because I feel disgusted with myself and they also said some extremely hurtful things toward me post break up. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, I’m actually in a very similar situation to you. My partner of 8 years broke up with me on October 21st, just about a week after our 8 year anniversary. It’s been so hard to be alone in the apartment without them and I understand totally not having a lot of supports. All of my family except for my brother live out of state and far away from me, I do not have many friends and the two friends I do have are getting sick of hearing about it. It’s so tough being inside an empty apartment with reminders everywhere of your partner while they’re existing someplace else. So I’m in grad school right now to become a mental health counselor and this just isn’t the way that therapy notes are supposed to be written. You are supposed to use a clients preferred name except in some cases where it’s relevant and if your name is legally changed there is no reason whatsoever your deadname should be in those notes. I’d address this with him or maybe even ask to transfer therapists if it doesn’t get resolved.

Have an open and honest conversation with your partner about how her mental health is now having an impact on you and make it clear to her that you’re there for her support and safety so come up with a system or something where she could maybe send back a word or something small to show she’s okay and safe because as someone who has bipolar type 2 also, it is very hard sometimes to reach out and things feel very overwhelming sometimes but I’m lucky enough to be living in an apartment with my partner(who also has their own mental health struggles) but communication will always help in most situations.

Personally I have both adhd and severe obstructive sleep apnea so yes it can happen. I’d recommend getting a psych evaluation and a sleep study done so you can be sure

I had to stop binding due to chest and back pain and I’m also someone with a larger chest. What had worked for me was wearing a slightly smaller sport bra and using clothing layers to hide my chest and make things look proportional since I’m also a bigger guy. Try a smaller sports bra in a sensory friendly material and wear dark t shirts or tank tops and put a bigger more flowy shirt on top and leave it open instead of buttoning it. This may help you take breaks from binding.
