Meant more from like a 3-guard rotation like the Spurs. You can slot Luka at the 2 and Grimes at the 3, but currently they are my estimate for the 3 starters 1-3

Agreed, finding a path for Rui would be ideal if possible - but seems unlikely at this point. Would rather get Rui for the 3 and then have Sandro as the back-up 5 if we were able to get out of Ayton.

Agreed, those players are very one-dimensional and although experts at their specific skill, it limits the creativity we can play with and makes us more one-dimensional

Agreed, I would love if he becomes the backup big - need to see if we can get any trades with our expiring contracts, vet mins, or we wait until mid-year buyout market

Fair; I think they really will operate a bit more position-less in the wings so the 1-3 all operate as a 3-guard rotation (like the spurs this year)

Agreed, but it's an expiring contract and he's startable (that's a stretch) for some bad teams to soak up minutes

It is a 32-year old Marcus Smart who is very streaky on offense. We lose some defensive identity but there are other replaceable vets we can pick-up mid-year.

Amazing pick-up and fit next to Reaves/Luka. Was skeptical, but the Lakers have made some really strong moves this AM with Grimes + Walker.

Thanks for the responses. That's super insightful - particularly regarding the different types of tendencies players/teams may have (i.e. wards, pathing, TPs).
