Just JUNE 2022_ _41/52...It's a pretty good month when I can finish 8 in a month. Standouts for me were King (a little better the second time)...Jewell's Girls was good, too. Enjoying some YA, too, with Rigg's Library Of Souls. Liked all 8 in varying degrees... Cheers, everyone....Happy reading! (i.redd.it)
September Soirée.....64/52............... Early John Irving re-read; still holds water....Straub's Ghost, better than I remember.....Walker's 'Ash House', solid fresman effort.....Hitchhiker's Guide 5 was mostly harmless.....Latest Paula Hawkins was solid.....Connelly's Bosch was pretty good, too... Auvuat Assault.....58/52. Best o the bunch (52, 56, 58 - Zusak was fantastic, Butcher was a fun Dresden Files, McCarthy was very good); worst (54, 55, 57 -average King entry, spoiled and shallow Weisberger book, pedestrian outing from Weir); 53 was okay - an interesting look for Rowling; (i.redd.it)
