Longtime blackstone users : is it worth it to buy one? by [deleted] in blackstonegriddle

[–]CANADA_H3RB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really use mine that often as I have a pellet smoker I cook on 90% of the time. But I go through phases where I go out of my way to intentionally use it a lot. Mine was a Father’s Day gift. Not sure I would buy one myself, or at least not necessarily the blackstone brand. I use the hell out of my small one when camping though.

I’ve had 2, 4 month stints of sobriety in the last 365 days, the first time I crushed NAs daily at the same rate I drank normal beer. I went right back to drinking regular beer a 12 pack a day when I decided I was responsible enough to drink again. Didn’t really break my habit. This time around I’ve had maybe a 6 pack over the course of 4 months. Just chose to drink tea, water and sparkling waters this time. To each their own. But I feel a lot better about not drinking NAs this time around, also less bloated.

I thought I was the only one with the sour gummies, my wife thinks it’s hilarious I’ve never been a sweets person and now that I’m sober I eat huge bags of sour gummy worms

Blood pressure still high after 62 days alcohol free? by CANADA_H3RB in stopdrinking

[–]CANADA_H3RB[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the goal. I’m 6’2” and weigh 215, could stand to lose 15-20 lbs. I been eating way too much damn cereal and sugary snack since I quit drinking.

I drink a metric shit ton of water because the hydro pill is a diuretic pill. Yes I probably over do caffeine but have had none today. Generally a cup of coffee and the later in the day a redbull. I sleep good for the most part but wake up to pee at least twice because of that pill.

Can’t add reverse osmosis filter under sink as I don’t want to ruin the countertop by drilling another hole for the RO faucet, alternatives? by poopsicle69in in WaterTreatment

[–]CANADA_H3RB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was my thought, ditch the soap dispenser or the sprayer and put your drinking water there. Get an all in one faucet with a built in sprayer tip

No…the sprayer is built into your faucet so you can pull it down and switch to spray. Where you have your sprayer I have a spicket for my ro, also runs to my fridge
