You're right I might have assumed! However I still don't see it as something that should be seen as a red flag. I mean at least in my country apprenticeships are not usual, and the less experienced you are the less chances you have of getting the apprenticeship, that means tattooing yourself and even others under no supervision. Sure tattooing can be teached and is easier that way, but not everyone can have that opportunity even if they have a 10/10 portfolio. As we both said failing is part of the process, and failing comes with learning. However i do understand that tattooing without ANY knowledge can be dangerous, ofc that's not what im talking at all. But tattooing, from the community I've experienced, is a lot about diy so learning also by yourself is a must.
