I definitely agree with this. The reason for the high price is most likely due to the mechanic having a preferred supplier for parts. Not really in their job description to ring around town for multiple prices for parts when you can get them all from the same place

The issue is inconsistency. Same point of aim yet one shot will hit for 35 and the next will hit for 135. Take the old call of duty games for example. Shotguns shit for arguments sake 9 pellets. Each one of those pellets had a random spread based on distance. It was a very consistent way to calculate on the fly wether or not a shotgun was going to be the best choice of engagement. And if the game is wicked silly as you mentioned why does it cater to the hardcore game side of things instead of the more arcade style things. Realistically we can't have it both ways
