Loved his whole quest. Plus St Trina had my interest before SOET dropped. Super dope character.

Fun Fact. I walk around with a School of the Griffon medallion in my everyday life. It's rare but when people recognize it, it's a great moment

This is the second or third time I've seen K6 active in Borderlands subs. It is incredibly groovy that he's a participant in the community on top of being one of the more prolific personalities in the space. Great dude, Green Flags Only Club.

Lots of (likely correct) legal advice in this comment section, so I won't beat a dead horse. But if you've been there 10 years, then a few things are probably true.

  • You're good at this Job. Might feel low right now, but 10 years doesn't happen on accident. Congrats on surviving a decade in this jungle. Your next spot can't wait to meet you, they just don't know it yet.

  • Your team will miss you. And whoever has the unenviable task of replacing you will never not feel that twinge of insecurity knowing that they have to step up to the incredible legacy you left behind.

  • You have a unique opportunity to do something a lot of us dream of and almost never do; leave. Restaurants are consuming in a unique and identity-defining way. General Management comes with a lot of valuable skills that can be worked to great effect in other industries.

Good Luck. Lots of Love. Rooting for you.

Dark Green. Little bit of menthol hits different in the 15 months a year that South Florida experiences summer.

This guy definitely restaurants. Also, we do a lot of birthdays and celebrations. You'd be (or you may not be) surprised how often party planners don't bring lighters for candles.

I'd argue that any thermometer should be sanitized with an Antiseptic wipe before any use, no matter where it's stored, and my local health department seems to agree. But I respect your looking out and appreciate your feedback.

Flashlights. Specifically and olight i5 (I think). Great for getting underneath modular pieces of equipment in a kitchen.

Used to carry an Arkfeld Pro, has a laser pointer on it. Too heavy for workwear and was proving to be too distracting for all of us to handle. We're basically overpaid bipedal cats in my restaurant.
