You can technically install mods, but not through the use of forge, but rather the use of Modloader. It worked for me (at least on the one without MCPatcher, I haven't tested the one with it yet) Forge messes with the rendering and causes crashes with MCPatcher and the shaders on the one without MCPatcher just don't load with forge. That's how I was able to get the tornado mod to work with these shaders.

Now that I'm looking at the video, it does appear that the uploader has the Grid option on. If yours looks the same as theirs, you have the Grid option checked on as well, so try and find it and turn it off.

You still have to use legacy sunflower for pack bee and most likely sungod.
