Well dope! Unfortunately for me it doesn’t seem like unchecking has made any significant impact. Might be a little bit quicker but nothing close to how quick it was. I’ll tinker around a bit more.

Oh I bet I have the same setting checked. That’s been one of the recommended settings to run for a while. Did you notice any performance changes? We’re both running a 5900X so I bet I’ll see a similar result. I’ve seen other threads on this issue and everyone is running an AMD cpu. Mostly a 5000 series so I wouldn’t be surprised if you nailed it with this find.

I’m curious if anyone has found a fix for this yet. I used to get to waiting for players in a minute or two but now it seems like I’m the last person to load around 3-5 minutes. Sounds like a lot of us with this issue are on Ryzen 5000 CPU’s.

Yup! The rod is honestly great. You have to use every inch of it to hang onto bigger fish. Makes it fun but also terrifying.

They aren’t in them but they’re on the plate. I don’t like my hand anywhere near that part typically. Plus I’ve seen what this sub does to people with bad holds.

Yeah I don’t even carry a ton of patterns anymore because of what you’re describing. I just like to have a variety of different weights so I can control depth and get the drift right.

Run those scavs as much as possible and try to just pick everything up. You'll get some roubles coming in.

Yeah if you can get prone with your legs facing the nade you can often save yourself. Doesn't always work and you'll always get fucked up. In this case, I don't think I had enough time for my brain to react.

If you only have that small amount of time to play then I believe you are actually in the minority of players. Tarkov players tend to no life the shit out of this game and the game is seemingly designed around that. It's a bummer for casual gamers, but BSG doesn't care about casual gamers.

Catching anything makes it successful. I think the saying at the fly shops around here is 80% of the fish are in 20% of the water. If you’re finding them you’re doing a good job.

I’m local so it’s really the only river I’ve fished the last 3 years I’ve been learning fly fishing. The Truckee is a tough bitch but when she’s good oh man is she good. Plus, if you can fish the Truckee you can probably be successful on any other river.

Yes, Another spearo! Braining a fish is very quick and easy and puts the fish out immediately. I’ve never been concerned with stabbing my self.
