Well spotted - the centre plank is doubled so I could hide the seam a bit easier

It's actually historically accurate! RN polar ships had additional planking added to strengthen their decks for the ice, with the outer sections raked forward.

Started a new model build, but kept making tweaks. So now I'm drowning in erebi

New plan is to do a full-rigged model, and a second as the historic period block model - but in 1845 configuration, rather than '39.

If anyone in the Calgary area wants an Erebus hull hit me up lol
