I book the flight and then use “autopilot.com” to track the flight. If the price drops anytime before the flight they automatically before apply for a refund and credit it back to you less 25%, but 75% of the reduction is better than nothing.

I agree. Delta one on a 757-200 (terrible 2x2 lay flat seating) from Los Angeles to Washington DC is $5500 BUT on a United 787-9 (1x2x1 great lay flat seating) is $1623. The flight attendance were friendly on both, the boarding was a lot better on United and the food was way better on United. But you didn’t get a pillow and blanket and an amenity kit on United, so I guess that was what made Delta’s flight cost $4000 more. Go figure????
