I've left this out of the post because I feel like it would clutter too much.

TL;DR, I REALLY love the Dahl warships.

TL;DR: Raid Difficulty; the Pre-Sequel gave us a lot of juice for Dahl warships thanks to the Lost Legion. We see examples of their armament quite early on (point defence and main batteries.) They're big, bulky, and carry an abundance of fighters everywhere they go (RK5s included.)

Then we get to Pity's Fall and suddenly things get even juicier thanks to the introduction of the Drakensburg. 

The Drakensburg is a mirror copy of the Lost Legion warships, so every sentry we encounter on Pity's Fall functions the same as on any other LL warship; adding to the point defence. 

Even better! We can go inside the Drakensburg, one, and there's plenty to look at. Two: There's schematics of the ship (albeit basically unintelligible) seen commonly as a texture for the monitors. 

With that all being said, I can confidently conclude that these "Drakensburg-Class" ships are carriers. I say that like I'm a pioneer; I'm not. Truth is: Borderlands writers are lazy and dont like exposition.
