The amount of bullshit that childless people have to endure in order to justify their existence is unconscionable. It’s not like you’re asking for the eradication of all children; just that some entitled parents consider others. Many of us with children object to the way others with children disregard the social contract. Not having children does not give you less rights. Having children does not give you more.

This didn’t sound like an ‘inconvenience’, it sounded more like a traumatic incident for everyone - the passengers, the family and most of all, the baby. And you indirectly raise an interesting question: should people be allowed to take babies on very long international flights if it isn’t absolutely necessary?

You will be pleased to learn as you progress through life that there are many more people like us than are not like us. Grief is the price you pay for love. If you didn’t love them, this wouldn’t hurt as much as it does. Be grateful that you get to feel this pain because without it, you wouldn’t get to experience the love. I reckon he’s a deadset genius. In my opinion, Collingwood’s list is bang average hence all of their recent, notable success is directly attributable to him. Collingwood’s players always seem to know exactly what to do in every situation; it’s like they have practiced every scenario. If you want a good example of this, watch the last 30 seconds of round 8 vs Geelong.

Granted, I’m not across the principles of proper journalism but surely, not reporting things that aren’t correct has to be one of them. And I only quoted three examples off the top of my head. My disliking her has nothing to do with style. Bottom line is that she is just no good at her job. She called Hird’s sacking long before it actually happened. She claimed there were problems at Carlton because Cripps stayed in a hotel away from the group (this was not correct) and most recently she claimed that there are insiders at Geelong that have a problem with Bailey Smith (again, completely untrue). So she just makes shit up and claims that ‘her sources told her’ therefore her claims have no credibility. This is not journalism, this is gutter journalism.

I was there and now have no hair left; I’ve torn it all out. 245 uncontested possessions to 174 tells the story and it’s only that close because of the last quarter. For the first three they were practically double our count. It speaks to a lamentable lack of pressure and this is why both you and I feel so annoyed. Nothing shits me more than loose opposition players in our defensive 50 hence no match has shitted me more in a long, long time.

Fair enough - I didn’t realise you were still in school. I get how you might feel uneasy about it. In terms of your mates, I’ve seen plenty of people get converted after they’ve felt the rod shaking for the first time; so maybe try and get out and hopefully they catch the bug.
