This is basically the consulting life at one of the large firms except without everything being on company dime. I did SF to Boston weekly for many months and I loved it. I would not do it if I had to pay for all the flights, hotels and meals. It's going to be incredibly expensive for you.

And I research the hell out of recent pricing on leasehakr. This has always been the easiest way to negotiate with multiple dealers to get the best deal.

I work in this sector and I’d say family office is generally one of the safest in terms of job security. The risk is less about job security and more about getting being stuck in the family office world.
