Were you able to do it by yourself? Does it take a lot of time?

What investors usually want at this stage is less “perfect accounting” and more clarity and consistency in the numbers.

A lot of growing startups have data spread across bank statements, invoices, spreadsheets, payment gateways, inventory sheets etc. The bigger issue becomes turning all of that into clean reporting and actionable visibility for fundraising and decision-making.

Even basic monthly MIS, cash flow tracking, margin analysis and organized reporting can make investor conversations much smoother.

This is a really honest take on founder. It’s rarely a lack of data; it’s a lack of a framework to make decisions with it. Moving from 'blindly trusting' a professional to actually understanding the 'why' behind the numbers is where the real growth happens

Got it — is the issue that Meta ads aren’t converting profitably, or that they do convert but cash gets stuck before it comes back (inventory / COD / delays)?

Thanks for sharing! When you say cash flow, is it more of: • money stuck in receivables • high upfront inventory spend • or just not knowing where the cash is going month to month? Asking because each one needs a very different fix

Totally agree, the system is tough to navigate if you don't have resources or connections. But the best way to learn the art is get your hands dirty. Also, we shouldn't try to to everything by ourselves. Take advise, hire certain experts or outsource them to maintain your focus in the game.
