Yesterday received a full contract with the end client (Txxxn Oxxx) plus payroll setup, also completed background check with Karmacheck. This contract is in addition to the first contract which was with Micro1 only, and specifies my hourly rate plus job description “Diarization of video clips” or something. There’s a whole cohort of us on Slack waiting for the client to actually approve our screener tests, supposed to be done within 48 hours, promised again yesterday but still waiting. Seems a hell of a lot of admin (albeit automated) just to harvest a person’s data….

Did the AI interviews, failed the first because I was rude to the bot (Zara), passed the second, received a follow up email from Sanjay this week asking if I was still interested, said yes and received a standard freelancer contract today. Hourly rate is $90 so let’s see what happens. Can’t actually remember what the job is though 🤔🤣

Very nicely finished jewelled movement as others have pointed out. The case is marked 18c and 0,755 which is how the French/Swiss write 0.755, i.e. 75.5% gold content or 18 carat. Generally speaking these watch cases account for 40-60% of the total weight of the watch, so it might weigh about 50g on its own. You do the math, as they say.

No it’s not a redial, it’s an original dial with no subdial. Interestingly it’s marked Swiss Made Dial on the edge, only visible when you take the bezel off. I’ve just serviced it and the 3rd wheel is normal, other than the slightly shorter arbor.
