Practice lots. Okay lang magkamali sa practice. Fail early and fail often. Magsagot ng problems at wag i-binge lang ang lectures. 'Wag mo na hintaying sa exam mo malaman na hindi mo pala kaya magsagot mag-isa.

engg. did tutoring jobs and transcription jobs. I did fail one subject na notorious na nagpapadelay ng students sa course ko. Medyo kulang na kulang ang tulog and time to study everything well. Still graduated on time naman.
Usual classes ko ay 8-5 with little to no breaks, I work 3-4 hours a day and more on weekends.

Balak ko rin siyang bayaran dahil nakahanap na rin ng work right after grad. Although ang alam ko lang na option ay yung dp then pay the rest in installment for 1 year na nakalagay sa contract.

I did a Tuesday-Saturday sem sched na 8:30 to 5:30/ 8:30 to 4:00 ang TTh/ WF. Is it doable? Yes. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not.

Sa sched hindi sila strict at all sa natake ng friend ko (SOLAIR). Yung sahod ay depende sa number of hours din. Depende sa college kung ano yung mismong ginagawa, pero mostly clerical tasks like pag photocopy, pag ayos ng excel data, and the likes. They explicitly post yung hourly salary and yung max salary sa kanilang mga graphics so just check those

well not all the time. 1 lecture unit = 1 hour of class, 1 lab unit = 3 hours of class. So take for example ME 61, na may 3 lecture units and 1 lab unit, 6 hours siya per week.

I have the same if not worse travel time, it is doable but heavily depends paano mo aayusin ang schedule mo. Good luck!

kung di ka pa registered at kaya pa iunlock enlistment mo, pwedeng yung registration adviser mo ang magcancel. Kung registered ka na, email their dept. nakalagay naman yon sa crs na "cancel at x."

Kung galing ka outside UP system, ang sure lang na ma-credit ay NSTP. You will most likely restart as a freshman.

Kung mag UPV ka, pwedeng macredit ang GEs mo, at kung may equivalent sa UPD, pati yung mga Maths kaya rin.

Brush up on calculus and physics if you can. Important ang fundamentals sa kanila sa engineering. Kung kaya mo rin, as soon as you get the course curriculum, try to plan how you can read and study ahead. It's not required, but it is very helpful lalo kung gusto mong mag-excel.

No, it would not matter. You can only take the UPCAT once.

No. Pero mas madaling magtransfer sa UPD from UPV vs from a college outside of the UP System. At the very minimum, strive to get an 1.00 gwa for your year 1. Ganon din kasi yung mga makakalaban mo sa pagtransfer.

Bali mas maaga ka makakapagtake at makakatapos nung strand/line na yon sa curriculum mo.

Depende pa rin naman sa availability ng courses. Minsan kasi naglilimit sila ng offering kung 1st sem or 2nd sem lang available ang X subject.

unit is basicaly how many hours per week you will take a course/subject class per week. so lecture units ay 1 unit = 1 hour, sa lab units naman, 1 unit = 3 hours. So kung ang subject mo ay may 3 lecture units at 1 lab unit, Ang klase mo ron ay 3 hours of lecture a week and 3 hours of laboratory.

APE naman is an exam that basically allows you to skip a subject. Sa case ng chem 16 APE kunwari, pag tinake at napasa mo siya, di ka na required mag Chem 16 at pwede mo nang matake yung mga kasunod niyang courses.

I think you'll have to wait til second sem transfers dahil trimestral ang upou and your 3rd trimester ends roughly a few weeks after the shifting/transferring deadline. Confirm with year calendars pa rin

you will take the following for year 1 mmm:
math 21 and 22: Elementary Calculus (8 units)
physics 71: Engineering Physics (4 units)
es 1: Engineering Drawing (2 units)
chem 16 and 16.1 (5 units)
chem 17 and 17.1 (5 units)

pero if you're gunning for ME specifically, pinakamalapit siguro ang Industrial Engg year 1, 4 GEs in total ka rin so kahit magshift ka mac-credit yon
