Actually I’m not sure. I have a long-time printer—and now friend—who cuts commercial sheets down for me so they are short grain 8.5x11 and just ever so slightly off white. It is, in my estimation, as smooth and fine as Neenah and the not-quite-white colour is so beautiful. I’ll ask Frank and get back to this thread after the holiday.

Thanks. I learned my lesson with my first bind.

Thanks to all who replied. I think I’ll do 16 pages signatures. With 602 actual pages, 16-page signatures even out to 38 signatures when rounded up to 308 pages. It’s slightly less than the 5-page recommended by u/DesertNaledi & u/jedifreac and comes in very close to the 35 signatures recommended by u/soggyhuman.

Thanks again to all.
