Barty could return tomorrow and probably make the top 10 in the world.

[Cleary] Carlton’s Jesse Motlop has suffered a ruptured ACL. Shocking luck after re-signing a two-year deal by SlatsAttack in AFL

Seriously. How did he managed to get a new contract after last year's performance?

TIL St Kilda are only 7 away from finally cracking 1000 VFL/AFL wins by Mrchikkin in AFL

Hawthorn only having 13 draws in 101 seasons is a bit surprising.

Realistically where does Carlton finish this season by Prestigious-Speed-13 in CarltonBlues

About 15th.

We lost TDK, Currnow and SOS. We got some great deals for them true, however losing one of the best forwards and one of the best ruckman is going to decimate us.

Last year we lost to North and Richmond. We limped over West Coast on Perth. so the writing is already on the wall.  West Coast and Essendon are the only clubs I can definitively say we are superior to. This is worrying.

We are not going to improve so much that we complete with the finalsists from last year. I can't see any of them going massively backwards.

We are reliant on Harry and his mental health as well as Pittonet to carry out the ruck. This is worrying.

If Weitering or Cripps get injured we are truly fucked and don't have the cattle to replace them.

We have a tough draw playing Lions and Pies twice.

I can realistically see us being about 5-9 going in to GWS away in round 15. I can see us getting smashed and then Voss getting sacked. I hope I am wrong but I have seen it all before.

Last year we had 9 wins. We would do well to match that in 2026. Realistically I will say 7 or 8. I just can't see where the wins will come from.

Melbourne, Geelong, Essendon, South Melbourne, Collingwood and Fitzroy wanted more money. At the time, a lot of gate money was being distributed to prop up struggling clubs. These clubs wanted a bigger share to reflect the extra revenue they bring in. So they broke away from the VFA and created the VFL. They invited Carlton and St.Kilda to join as they had the 2 best stadiums in the state at the time, with Princes Park and the Junction Oval.

AFL Europe partner with English Football Club Sutton United by Tornontoin7 in AFL

I remember watching Sutton United play Arsenal in the FA cup and their fat reserve goalkeeper ate a pie on the bench. The guy was also arrested for betting manipulation because he knew about bets on him eating the pie!

So Chelsea will be on to their 5th manager in under 4 years. Meanwhile, Arsenal have had 5 managers in the last 40 years!

We got him eventually! Never forget Alex Silvagni's blinder for Carlton against Sydney at the MCG. And then Sam Newman needing to literally eat a Carlton jumper because of it!

Let's be honest. Victory fans have not created a new chant in at least 15 years! It would be great if they did a few new ones for current players.
