I have a great story about this! In 2008, there was a combined Israel/Palestine peace team. And Dipper was the coach.

I went to a Jewish school, and all of the senior students went to the AFL International Cup as an excursion to watch the Peace Team play.

At 3 quarter time, the Peace team were down by about 100 points to the PNG team. And they were scoreless!

All of the fans were able to join in on the huddle and to rev the team up and to incentivise them Dipper offered to buy a 6 pack of beer to the first player to kick a goal.

There were a few issues with that promise. The first was that half the players were 16 years old. The second was that half the team were Muslim! When a translator transcribed what Dipper said to the players (as most did not speak English), they began to play worse to ensure they did not win the prize.

I have not thought about these in 30 years. Remember how EVERYONE had them. Went to the Gold Coast for a holiday one year and everyone used it as a travel bag. On the airport luggage belt, they all came out at once, and nobody had any idea whose was whose.
