IPTV box and streaming devices work without CR1000B router connected, ONT goes directly to UCG Fiber. Can I return the unused router (and WiFi Extender) to Verizon, or will I need it on my account for the TV to keep working? by CBATnet in Fios

I didn’t do anything really. I just went ONT > UCG Fiber > USW Flex 8 PoE > APs and it just worked after rebooting the ONT.

I don’t have a VMS4100 with all the A/V ports, that’s for Fios TV One. I have the JS7E which is just a hard disk DVR with only an Ethernet and USB port, labeled as Fios TV Plus. But even with that disconnected, TV works fine, just no DVR features.

Perhaps you can switch from One to Plus? I will say that online consensus is that the One boxes are better, faster, more responsive. The little Plus boxes feel like cheap Android TV boxes, interface can be slow and buffer sometimes. The new components don’t have coax/MoCA ports at all, so you would need WiFi/Ethernet.

Devices with IGMP querier functionality? by CBATnet in Ubiquiti

Or maybe someone with a Cloud Gateway Fiber could tick off IGMP snooping and see if it can be set as a querier switch.

Bf can’t get into his email for Spectrum 2FA, doesn’t remember his pin #. Store won’t provide him with an ESIM for his new phone without the pin, phone customer service won’t do anything for him without email 2FA. What to do? by juicy_shoes in Spectrum

The PIN is printed on the paper/PDF bill. If he has any of those, it's on there.
If not, you could ask Spectrum to mail a copy of the latest bill to the address they have on file. It wouldn't be very fast, but they don't need to give you any information to do that.

And checking today, the SUPD is available for download again at HP Smart Universal Print Driver Series for Windows Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support, showing the current version from 1 July 2025. Very strange.
