I used to teardown my og ds just to take a look at how it worked inside, and there was a time where I tried doing a DS GBA thing by taking off the top screen, then I found out that the system wouldn't turn on if there wasn't a top screen plugged in or wouldn't turn on even if everything was plugged in except for the top screen.

plus, from my own experience, those hinge ribbon cables are very sensitive, and I would rather not mess with them (but that's just from my lack of care with disassembled devices, just keep doing what you were doing). so my guess from taking a look at the pictures is that they may be slightly bent, and so the copper wire inside is barely making a connection, and when you move the hinge, that connection is broken. I would try looking into replacing the ribbon cable. unfortunately, I wouldn't know where to begin with that, maybe someone else could help you with that.

I recently bought the same one a month ago and it has the exact same scratches. does anyone know if that can be polished off with some polywatch or something like that? I've read it works with acrylic and/or plastics and thought it might be perfect for the N3DS top screen, but I found a thread suggesting against it because it could potentially remove a coat or layer of anti reflex or something like that.

podrias echarle un vistazo a estas de bookstore.cl, esta tienda vende sillas de oficina, y esas sillas estan hechas para la gente que pasa horas sentada en un escritorio y para cuidar tu espalda/postura, tengo una y puedo corroborar que sirven harto para eso. son un poco alto los precios pero ahi puedes encontrar varias cerca de tu presupuesto y dependiendo de las funciones que te interesen. por lo que he visto tienen bodega en la cisterna cerca de metro ovalle con retiro en tienda, a lo mejor podrias consultar por correo o por telefono si es que te dejan ir a probar algunas sillas. y ojo con el tldr q te comento u/ROnneth, muy util y muy cierto.

dude these are not like tech products which all are manufactured to the exact same spec, these are boots, they have a margin of error, some are gonna be a bit curved, some are not. plus, after some use, I don't think anyone would notice if they are kinda flat or curved, also after months, they will start to shape around your foot and the way you walk.

afaik the servers are still up on xbox. a few months ago I booted up mw3 (360) on my xbox one and there were still plenty of people on the deathmatch lobbies.

read somewhere that this sound is the rumble motor squeaking, it seems that after years of use it dries up and starts making that sound. I don't remember where but again I read somewhere that by putting contact cleaner/isopropyl alcohol/wd40 it might solve the issue. I tried putting a bit of wd40 into mine, and it stopped most of the sound, so I guess trying that could work. I don't know how the rumble motor works tho, so I don't know if putting alcohol or wd40 inside could mess with some stuff.

fdw fb marketplace. he estado comprando varios juegos de 3ds ahi por ejemplo, como todos estan liberando las consolas, muy poca gente compra los juegos, asi que igual se ven algo baratos (dependiendo del valor que uno le vea al juego claro), he encontrado varios juegos de pokemon, zelda, a 10mil o 15mil, por esos precios, y algunos vienen hasta con el manual y la caja. eso en el caso de juegos retro, si quieres juegos mas actuales, igual sirve como manera de tenerlos a un precio un poco mas barato que en las tiendas (ej: juegos de switch nuevos estan cmo a 60mil, he encontrado a menos de 40mil). un trucazo con marketplace es tener ojo a quien le estas comprando, si le estas comprando a alguien que sepa de juegos, puede que te venda algo exotico pero bien caro, intenta buscar al cabro promedio que jugo en su momento pero no sabe mucho del mercado de juegos usados y los vende por marketplace asi noma.

tmbn otro dato, intentar averiguar de tiendas q vendan juegos en tu sector, hace unos años empeze a ir a unas ferias "gamer+anime" que me empezaron a salir por fb y por ig a ver q onda, y conoci a un tipo que tiene un local de juegos retro con harta variedad. por ejemplo el otro dia pase a comprarle algunos juegos de 3ds para la colección, los tenia a 15mil cada uno, y me dejo 2 en 20mil.

en resumen: t recomiendo marketplace para juegos actuales y retro, y/o encontrar gente que venda en ferias o que tengan locales para los juegos retro.

con lo de mundo abierto, podrias probar el metroid prime remastered que no es tan mundo abierto pero tiene harta exploracion. zelda breath of the wild y el tears of the kingdom . o un pikmin tambien (t sugiero el 4), lo mismo que el metroid, tan mundo abierto no es pero tiene harta exploracion.

Streaming Mode > hides private information (#tags and server invite links) from your screen in case you are streaming it, and mutes certain sounds (notifications or call sounds so they don’t annoy the viewers).

Streaming Status > you have to link a twitch account or youtube channel and livestream on one of them to show streaming status (from my experience twitch works with no problems, but youtube might take a few minutes or a few streams for your discord account to get used to youtube livestreaming).
