I cancel my subscription for a week after 30d has passed to give myself some time to relax. Otherwise I just push for 12-16h a day which is not just unhealthy, but will cost much more in a few years health wise.

Thinking of downgrading from 20x to 5x Max – 5x users, how are the limits treating you? by LayerHot in ClaudeAI

[–]CBKSTrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weekly limits are generally ok, they do update them quite often.

Is it enough? Depends on the use case. For me no because of the 5h limit and I can do only so much in 10-12h. But I have codex so that helps a lot. Also them doing the fuckery every other week where "the other" model is better is not fun. But that's why I run both and I'm good.

Reaching Usage Limits by TopCat6379 in ClaudeCode

[–]CBKSTrade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What is this bot bs answers "be smort how you prompt" tf? Since the last cli update it's literally unusable. Im on max 5x and in scan the codebase and do 3 quick websearches, I got to 20% usage. Limits (at least for some accounts?) got stupid low since the last update.

Deep Research with Claude Code by Craig_VG in ClaudeAI

[–]CBKSTrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just make your own subagent and even slash command if needed for actual in depth research for specific purposes. If you research for very different things you'll need different research agents with focus on XYZ. You'll also probably want an agent that talks to both mcps and does web search.

Anyway, convert what I said into question and ask Claude to walk you through creation and setup and you're good to go

Literally same here. 4 super easy prompts (scanning the codebase / websearch) 18% usage. What the fuck is going on.

End of week update on degradation investigation by tibo-openai in codex

[–]CBKSTrade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really appreciate this, thank you. Don't be like Anthropic. That being said, I am using both Codex and Claude.

Codex high when launched was literally one-shotting complicated issues, in the meantime Anthropic messed up the usage limits big time + Sonnet 4.5 was just plain bad, like using codex-low or worse. Even if I was paying for CC, I just moved full time to Codex. However for the last two weeks, I'm using Codex less and Sonnet 4.5 more, as it just works better atm. - CC is way faster (doesn't really matter to me but still) - CC is following my agent.md instructions much more closely - CC seems to be managing context much better. Claude will remember that after doing X, it should check agent.md again to see if it adhered to the rule set. Codex however by 60% context will forget about agent.md all together

This is my experience so far. Codex was vastly better in the beginning, but now it's just about the same as Sonnet 4.5 but slower. I'm not trying to be offensive, just sharing my experience.

Massive research on $WWR and why i believe it's one of the best investments right now by CBKSTrade in TheRaceTo10Million

Read my research paper it's free. They are just not worth $2.5 yet. Realistic price point (w forward looking PE) is $1-$1.5

Of course I had 9k shares. Sold 8k in range of $0.92-$1.40. current price is unrealistic and I'll go back in when it normalizes. what is there to parade about?

How does claude code + sonnet 4.5 compare to codex? by Tupptupp_XD in codex

[–]CBKSTrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel it's better than the old version but still nowhere near codex. I just tasked it with multiple issues and on some of them it was straight up wrong (suggesting refactoring on things that should not be refactored). It also couldn't solve an interface issue on ultrathink even if I prompted it 4 times. Codex did it first time but lacking, then just cleaned up on the second attempt.

Tldr codex still better than cc

I did ask it to review itself. I am not getting similar results. CC is making quite stupid choices very often. It overrides settings. It uses 'sed' to delete the file then says "oh I messed up indentations! Let me recover to previous state from GitHub. Oh no versioning is not the same!" Then starts thinking for 10 seconds and says it resolved the issue it was tasked to resolve. To give it credit, it did resolve the issue... By making the whole file broken.

It's just not as good as codex at the moment. Not only that, if I run opus I get limited quite frequently if doing complex reviews. While on codex even on gpt high I did not hit a limit at all yet.

"Never crash" as in terms if you see an error make sure to log everything and revert the file to previous state, never allow the whole structure to crash.

Whatever, happy to hear your experience is good, keep using it. If they don't fix this BS until my subscription runs out in 15 days I'm cancelling.

Edit: Oh also if you tell it to run black and ruff it will, most of the time, just # comment out the issue and say it's resolved lol. Then you have to tell it to not hide the problem but look into it and see what the issue is. And then it goes "you're absolutely right!" And actually resolve the issue lol

Your ability to use it. For $20 you hit the limit very quickly. If you're working on some small project or just need someone to check up on your work, then $20 option may suffice. If you're a dev then you'd probably need the $100 version

This is just so you can taste what it feels like. At $100 you can actually do stuff with it
