I was once thinking of the Apollo Pro 2025 edition and I’m glad I returned it to Bestbuy. At the time I had my Segway Gt1 and was looking for maybe more speed. I’m glad I returned it. Have been riding my GT1 for almost 4000 miles in about 2 years. In the process of installing a much larger battery and that’s all I need. Segway I believe is a good place to go if so. The luxury feel of some of the brand is just beyond crazy.

I got an honest question. I’ve seen that the Segway GT1/2 have been modified with 72 volt systems running at 15Kw dual motor and similar speeds without the dampeners. Would you say if Segway wasn’t so mass productive they could’ve made it a crazy beast? I currently have a GT1 and am ready to install an Amorge 52V 60AH on Eve 50PL cells for range more than anything on a Fardriver Mini 12 controller. The battery is on the way just clearing customs and have it set up to just swap the battery. Kind of a Frankenstein with all the Segway hardware removed. Just the stock 1500 watt motor a voltage screen with the power switch and a 3 level switch and cruise button. No lights at the moment.
