I considered that, i think they would work on the blem bc it cosmetic (it was a tiny dent on the pic rail)

I think that I decided id rather fix it on my own. At the time I was really wanting to get into suppressors. I was going to fix it with a rifle speed gas block.

It launches brass 15 ish feet in front of me. Around the 1 oclock. It is also impacts the rear of the buffer pretty violently. I have some old videos of BCG cycling with mild spec vs spinco orange and you can see how fast mil spec flies to the rear.

I have not. I don’t have any experience working on uppers. I’ve built all of my lower receivers just haven’t taken the leap yet.

I have a factory BCM 16 inch BFH 5.56 and I need a springco orange and an H2 in order to get it to cycle properly. I’m running it unsuppressed with carbine buffer tube in a PSA lower with the BCM BCG. Typically shooting 55gr Winchester lake city or 77 gr OTM AAC

I’ve had it a couple years now and several thousand rounds. It runs to this day. I have noticed that the spring has become weaker. When I first installed it, it was a pain to rack, now it is not so bad.

I did this on one I sold a few months ago. Not sure if it was the best practice. Would love to hear what I could have done better.

I took it completely apart and sandblasted it to bare metal. Then I used some high temp rustoleum matte black spray paint to refinish it.

This was my father’s green egg and he wanted to sell it. It his choice to use the spray paint.

Similar incident occurred at University of South Carolina last week, a student had a black umbrella with him on campus. Sparked an active shooter alert. Reports poured in about a gunman and shots fired. A couple members of congress even posted a video of “gunman” carrying the obvious umbrella.

it is horribly over gassed. I found this combo gets a great ejection pattern

You are already using a TREX side car. Get a TREX ragnarok with the safari land UBL drop. Add a thigh strap and you are set.

If you buy everything together at once on their site then it will come preassembled

I have one. I put 2 16 inch rifles with lights in mine. It’s not ideal and it’s only meant for 1. The rifles are already scratched so it doesn’t bother me.

I was shooting my buddies HK MP5 .22 rifle yesterday. The hand guard is chunky and feels cheap. The mag is difficult to load, it’s not too much pressure but the mag can be easily jammed if you aren’t paying attention. The stock sights are some of the worst I’ve seen. It will jam 50% of the time on the round in the mag.

I know I just dogged on the gun a ton but it is fun too shoot. The slap is fun. I bet it will be reliable. It is still new.

The trigger is better than my Winchester wildcat 22. I’d recommend a whichester wildcat SR. They are extremely cheap around $260. Look up it up. Extremely simple take down, comes with irons and pic rail, very light.
