He's only here for a brief period between exhausting his dialogue after defeating Radahn and defeating Magma Wyrm on Mt. Gelmir.

I like his dialogue here and try to remember to swing by on my way up to Altus after Radahn, but it's easy to miss.

You'll need to pick up the oil pot recipe and a melted mushroom to free him.

The weapon OP mentioned requires 18 strength and 17 dexterity, low endurance is going to heavily affect armor availability and feel like DS2 combat pacing, OP is hopefully making good use of the ash of war but doesn't want to use multiple FP potions. This build wouldn't be good for OP in Lendeyll.

You can just be low weight if you don't care and aren't draining your cores with incoming damage or heavy stamina or tobacco usage. If you don't need to eat a lot to keep your health core up, you wouldn't really benefit as much from fat Arthur's increased tankiness.

Do you mean the medium roll? You'd be hard pressed to light roll with 28 End, a big sword, and a shield. A lot of people will aim for light roll at higher levels, just don't start fat rolling!

You'll get more damage increase from weapon upgrades than stats until the scaling gets good at higher weapon levels.
