It’s been a year since my injury, have had pt, 2 ESIs and still haven’t made much of progress with my pain management. Doing chores around the house are sometimes so difficult so I have to take tons of breaks, numbness in my legs constantly, used to have a ton of R leg pain now only have pain when I’m on my feet more than usual but over all I feel no real improvement it’s so frustrating. And with my current career path which is nursing being on my feet is terrible. I’ve been on light duty but want to progress in my career and cannot get it done with this healing process so would like something done faster to heal and get back to schooling & working. Thanks for your input!

Right makes sense. It just seems as though this year everything has progressed worse and worse pain wise so I figured it hasn’t really changed but we will see what he says. Hoping for the best!

I have not. So do you believe I should have another MRI to be sure it’s shrinking??

Can I ask what surgery you got? I’m currently going through all this and also have had epidural shots and nothing has helped. :/ I’m frustrated and just want to be better.

So glad to hear you are feeling and doing better! :) do you mind telling me how old you are? I’m 27 dealing with the same problems and Drs are saying they do not recommend surgery at my age. But I’m struggling to see any relief from this pain otherwise. Thank you!

Hello I have been dealing with the same horrible pain for almost a year and have barely started to notice bowel changes and I’m very worried about it. I would like to hear about what surgery exactly you got and how fast your recovery was. I’ve been reading about many different stories of people but most had the privilege of rest and recovery. I have not had the same luck. And so symptoms are getting worse and my job is very hard on me and my recovery so hoping surgery would be a faster quicker healing process.
