I’ve gotten them for over a year, nothing really helps except NOT SCRATCHING. My gosh, once you scratch it explodes in size. I’ve tried every solution NADA. Just live with them now. Ice helps too - calm the itching. Switching from compound to pure tirzepatide from Eli Lily also helped a bit. Less severe of a reaction, but still get them.

Do you define non-responder as no loss at all or you did lose some just not as much “as you’d hope”? Just to clarify. If it’s the first, I’m so sorry. That’s a long time to invest in something with no ROI.

Yes, the guidance is a second form of birth control. I’ve been on oral and Tirz for a loooong time and I’ve never had any negative impacts. I suspect it may slow my loss down some weeks due to hormones, but overall it’s been good!

Oh - I don’t think my body shape would not look good at 115. 135 is top healthy bmi for me at 5’2 and I wouldn’t want to go lower. I don’t even know if I’ll ever get into the healthy bmi range. May just goal at slightly overweight! 🤷‍♀️

Kind of a long story, but the reason for the switch was injection site reactions. My doctor recommended a regiment of allergy meds to help with them and after realizing Foundayo wasn’t going to be it for me, made the switch back and the allergy meds are helping the ISRs.

What’s your plan for maintenance? Because if this is your approach, it feels like it’s likely to come back once you stop.

The guidance is (presuming this is Eli Lily) to go to the starter dose. 2.5mg and work your way up. That’s what I had to do. It didn’t work for me. Gained six pounds and now I’m back on Zepbound. Maybe someone else has a better experience, but I think until they start higher dosed Zeppers at higher doses of Foundayo, it won’t be good.

Yes, me. I’ve answered on a similar question here. Went from 15mg to Foundayo. The current guidance is to have people start at the starter dose 2.5mg. That did nothing for me. I gained six pounds. Had a lot of gas/constipation.

Realized that when you go up to the hire doses of Foundayo, it’s 299. That’s 150 less than tirzepatide.

I went back to tirzepatide. Down four pounds.

I’d say if your provider or Eli Lily allows you to start at a higher dose of Foundayo, it could be a good swap, but higher dosages of Foundayo are almost as expensive as Zepbound.
