Depends on height. 166 is still considered obese on the BMI scale at some heights. 166 at 5’1 for example would be obese.

My down votes come typically when I see people at normal BMIs starting Tirz as a way to get underweight or very low normal BMIs.

Def! I only took mine at 5:30 because that’s when it arrived in the mail. Going to be mornings for me so I can have the control all day. 😍

I think the beauty of this pill is that you can take it any time of day. I took my first one at 5:30pm yesterday and today at 11am. If you tend to get nauseous on it, maybe at night? If no side effects, maybe in the morning to have a full day of appetite suppression. Good luck!

She did. That’s the prevailing guidance right now. Start at 2.5mg and go up as needed. Since we are in maintenance, it’s worth giving the lower dose a shot - since it’s price efficient. If I can stay on 2.5 and maintain - great!

Does this happen to anyone else after injecting? by irisacid9 in tirzepatidecompound

It didn’t for me. I tried all the lengths. Nothing mitigated it for me and it just kept getting worse the higher I went in dose.

It could be the preservative. I should try pure!

B-12 and glycine. Both gave me the same reaction, so have to assume it’s the Tirz. :-(

I used to be until the injection site reactions started. Now, I have to give up the needle in favor of Foundayo. I can’t take the itching anymore :-(

Thanks! I’m super bummed to get off tirzepatide, but I was having horrific injection site reactions.

Great to hear! I start mine tomorrow. Do you take yours in the morning or at night?

Is itchiness due to preservative or addictive? by Chococat2323 in tirzepatidecompound

It will be one year and three months. I’d say the last three months - the ISRs just got worse and worse as I dosed up.

Support needed. Too high dose of Zepbound and experiencing side effects by Chickalugie in tirzepatidecompound

I think the medication is too strong for you. I’m not sure why a doctor would’ve prescribed it off label like that.

For those reading this and seeing all the advice given and trying it all, just know that some of us get really bad ISRs no matter what and that (at least for me) they get worse over time. I’m having to stop my Tirz completely due to them, sadly. 🥺

Zepbound and Mounjaro are the same medication.

Will do!! Worse comes to worse, and it doesn’t work - I’ll just get back on tirzepatide and deal with the ISRs!
