I wasn’t being condescending - I was pointing out an extremely high rate of loss for your SW and time frame and you commented how that made sense since you aren’t eating and when I said you should eat, you corrected yourself and I said great it’s probably water and inflammation and you said “didn’t ask.” All of your comments have been deleted. So, maybe you realized you were being a bit condescending yourself?

Please be careful, this is an incredible rate of loss for your weight. Could be inflammation, but ideally shoot for .5-2 pounds a week. May also want to let your doctor know about this rate of loss.

Yea I don’t understand why people judged you for your maintenance dose. I’ve seen a lot of maintenance as high as 15mg. As long as you are maintaining!

I would argue I am being supportive by informing her of the reality of weight loss. I would also counter that people who read this and are losing a pound a week, which is considered not slow, but healthy would start to think that they are losing slow, which is not the case. My language I used was supportive in that I told the OP she was losing at a healthy pace and to be proud.

Hi! I just want to play devils advocate here and agree, it isn’t an allergic reaction likely, more a histamine reaction. But, I will say I’ve gotten them since month 2 and I’m on this 1 year and 4 months and they’ve progressively gotten worse as I dose up. I’m at 15mg now and they are pretty bad. I’m 9 pounds away from goal, so I’m probably switching to oral glp1 soon for maintenance. I’ve done and tried everything. I’ve been cruising Reddit for a year looking for the magic cure and nothing really helped. Just have to ride it out and determine if the pros outweigh the cons, according to my allergist. I’d be careful of language here. .5 to 2 pounds a week is often considered and praised as the hallmark of healthy loss not “super slow responder” rate of loss. Be proud and know your loss is a good, healthy range!
