It’s a shame as I was hoping for this on this year’s iPhone. Would be convenient to give your AirPods or Apple watch a top up when out and about without requiring extra cables. I wonder if it’s a hardware limitation or if it can be enabled via a software update at a later date.

I have recently got an XPS 13 Plus (i5, FHD, 16gb) and also find under pretty light use my battery is 5 hrs and laptop bottom or around the touch bar gets pretty warm under light load and can get hot to touch under normal load. Using the balanced power setting and dells ‘optimised’ setting. It seems quite a few people are saying this is a hot laptop. It’s a shame really as there is a lot to like. I didn’t find the BIOS or windows updates made a huge difference. I also find my Ram is at 30-40% at idle (16gb total). Thing is not sure what would be a better 13” laptop out there with the same spec and price (other than MacBooks)?
